Expert Paintless Dent Repair

A technician is working on the hood of a red vehicle. His PDR light can be seen along with the reflection on the hood which helps him see the dent while it is being worked. Another tech is doing a hail evaluation on a car in the light tunnel.

Door Ding Repair

What Are Door Dings?

Door dings are small, parking lot-type dents often caused by car doors, shopping carts, or other minor impacts. These dents are typically repaired in less than an hour, making PDR the ideal solution for a quick fix.

a door ding is prominently displayed on the driver door of a vehicle. A side mirror and the door handle can be seen as well. The dent shows up well because of the way it is photographed and the reflection upon it.

Benefits of PDR for Door Dings

  • Preserves Original Paint: Maintains your vehicle’s value with no repainting.
  • Cost-Effective: Less expensive than traditional repairs, starting at $99 for a dime-sized shallow dent.
  • Quick Repair: Most door dings are fixed in under an hour.

Our Door Ding Repair Process

Michael is seen using a PDR tool on a door. The scene is used to show how a door may be accessed for repairing a dent.

The dents is generally accessed from the backside and gently massaged back into place. In most cases, a protective window guard is placed between the glass and the dent with just enough room to operate our PDR tools until the dent is gone.

the backside of a hood panel can be seen here with a PDR tool in place that shows how a dent may be manipulated from the backside of a panel. Michael is holding the tool in a way that allows for better tool tip control by also using his finger along the edge of the tool tip for better feel.

Specialty Lighting allows us to see the dent and know our tool location based on how the reflection responds.

Complex Dent Repair

What Are Minor & Larger Dents?

A blue BMW with a large dent in the Right Quarter panel can be seen in this photo. This is an example of a larger, more complex dent.

These dents are more significant than door dings, including creases, body line dents, aluminum panel damage, or dents from minor collisions. When the paint is unbroken, PDR offers a cost-effective, high-quality solution. We’re often referred by area body shops for our expertise with large dents that competitors can’t handle.

Benefits of PDR for Larger Dents

  • Eco-Friendly: No harmful chemicals, preserving your vehicle and the planet.
  • Factory Finish: Restores your vehicle without repainting, even on aluminum panels.
  • Saves Time and Money: We are more efficient and cost-effective than traditional repair methods and can often repair these types of dents in 1 to 2 days.
  • Insurance Support: We can also assist with insurance claims for larger dents, especially if another party caused the damage or if your deductible is low.
